Resident Travel Award

The ACDS is excited to announce a resident opportunity for those interested in attending the ACDS Fall Meeting in Charleston, SC, October 16-18, 2025. The ACDS will be offering up to five Fall Meeting Travel Awards for dermatology residents to attend both the Basic Patch Test Workshop and the Fall Meeting General Sessions for FREE. An additional $1,000 towards travel related expenses is included.

Resident Travel Award Benefits

  • Complimentary registration to the ACDS Basics of Patch Testing Workshop; October 16, 2025; 1:00-4:00pm at the Charleston Marriott in Charleston, SC.
  • Complimentary registration to the ACDS Fall Meeting – October 17-18, 2025, at the Charleston Marriott in Charleston, SC.
  • Up to $1,000 in travel expenses may include the following:
    • Airline/train expenses
    • Hotel for up to 3 nights
    • Transportation to and from the airport

Resident Travel Award Eligibility Criteria

  • ACDS resident member with active status
    • Register to be an ACDS member here
  • Dermatology resident in good standing currently enrolled in an ACGME, AOA, or RCPSC accredited residency program or international equivalent
  • Have a strong interest or background in contact dermatitis
  • Provide a supporting reference letter from a current ACDS member in good standing with the society

Application Process

Deadline: Monday, August 25, 2025

Submissions must include:

  1. Letter of intent describing interest in contact dermatitis
  2. Curriculum vitae
  3. Supporting reference letter from a current ACDS member in good standing with the society

Recipients will be notified by September 5, 2025. We encourage you to register for the Basics Patch Testing Workshop and the Fall Meeting prior to award notification as workshop space is limited.
