ACDS CAMP Research Program

The American Contact Dermatitis Society (ACDS) is committed to advancing the care and understanding of dermatitis and allergic skin diseases through its Contact Allergen Management Program (CAMP), a web- and app- based resource designed to help patients manage allergic contact dermatitis and find personal care products that are safe for them to use.

The ACDS recognizes the value of CAMP for advancing scientific knowledge and improving patient care. As part of that initiative the ACDS has developed the CAMP Research Program, a formal platform for accessing CAMP data for approved research projects. Please read below to learn more about project eligibility and how to submit a data request.

Project Eligibility

Approved research projects must demonstrate a clear potential to further the mission of the ACDS, contribute to scientific advancements in the field of dermatitis and related inflammatory skin diseases, and improve the lives of patients affected by allergic skin diseases. All projects must include acknowledgment of the American Contact Dermatitis Society with the following statement:

"This study utilized data from the Contact Allergen Management Program, which is owned by the American Contact Dermatitis Society."

Cost estimates will vary depending on the complexity of the request and the parties involved in procuring the data.

Cost estimates include the following components:

Non Refundable Application Fee - $100
  • Fee will be applied towards applicable base or supplemental fees if approved
  • ACDS physician members are eligible for one waived application fee per year
