Fisher Lecturer

We are excited to announce D. Linn Holness, MD, as the American Contact Dermatitis Society’s 2020 Fisher Lecture honoree! Dr. Holness is from the Centre for Research Expertise in Occupational Disease, University of Toronto, and St. Michael's Hospital, is the author of over 100 articles and teaches researchers and residents.

She has been a significant contributor to the understanding of occupational skin disease including patch testing methodology and epidemiological studies, epidemiological studies of exposed populations, development of standardized data collection instruments, outcomes and health services utilization. She is also interested in the interaction between lung and skin disease, including the atopic march. She is devoted to returning patients to the workplace, and is especially interested in marginalized populations such as those in inner city workplaces. She is a systems thinker and has studied occupational health service delivery models. Our society benefits from the interaction of dermatologist, allergists, and occupational medicine physicians.

Please join us to hear Dr. Holness’s presentation and to honor her work at our 2020 ACDS Annual Meeting!
