21st Annual Meeting - Miami Beach
Notice: The 21st Annual Meeting venue has changed from the Eden Roc to the Miami Beach Resort and Spa - just 2 blocks away.
The American Contact Dermatitis Society holds an Annual Meeting each year. The ACDS Annual Meeting is held one day prior to the first day of the American Academy of Dermatology's Annual Meeting. The 21th Annual Meeting of the ACDS will be held on Thursday, March 4, 2010 in Miami Beach at the Miami Beach Resort and Spa.
The ACDS Annual Meeting is a full day focused on current issues in allergic, irritant, occupational and other dermatoses. Presentations include abstract and poster presentations on state-of-the-art research in the basic, applied and clinical science of contact dermatitis.

Meeting Description
The theme for this year's meeting is Emerging Allergens. Abstracts are now being accepted for the meeting and the committee encourages abstracts on the theme of new and emerging allergens.
Abstract topics may include Atopic Dermatitis, Diagnostic Patch Testing, Fragrance Sensitivity, Preservative Sensitivity, Metal Sensitivity, Latex Sensitivity, Medicament Allergy, Irritant Contact Dermatitis, Photo Allergy and Plant Contact Dermatitis among others.

Mid Year Meetings
In between Annual Meetings, ACDS co-sponsors meetings of interest including the joint meeting of the Experimental Contact Dermatitis Research Group and the Contact Dermatitis: State-of-the-Art meeting held in Hershey, PA.
Better known as the “Hershey Meeting”,” Contact Dermatitis: State-of-the-Art is organized by the Penn State College of Medicine, Division of Dermatology and co-sponsored by ACDS. The program is designed to bring physicians and industry professionals together to exchange information about the basic, applied, and clinical science of contact dermatitis and the skin.
The meeting is held at the Hotel Hershey which is a year-round resort styled after the famous nineteenth century grand hotels of the Mediterranean.
Blending Science with Best Practice: A Joint Meeting of the ECDRG and ACDS
The goal of this meeting is to discuss the basic and applied science of contact dermatitis. Scientific exchange is fostered among scientists and dermatologists from academia, government, and industry working in the field of contact dermatitis. The meeting is held every two years with the next meeting scheduled in 2010 in Dallas, Texas.
The first half of the meeting focuses on the basic and applied science of contact dermatitis. The second half of the meeting focuses on the clinical science of contact dermatitis.
